A year ago I became a proud owner of a desert king snake that I named Mommagos. I knew what snakes ate and I had no problem feeding him deceased mice. However, when I bought mice from the pet store, I then realized that they needed to be killed first in order to feed them to my snake. The pet store gladly did this for me by grabbing the mice by the tail and continually flogging them on a cabinet top. Or their heads were quickly pulled from their spinal cords in a violent jerk using both hands by the pet store's snake keeper.
I thought both methods were HORRIBLE !
So, I created a device where there was no need to excessively handle the mice. And, where I didn't have to use violent actions to provide food to my beloved Mommagos. The mice were dropped in and neatly dumped out of a unit without any smell, discoloration or blood. And it was all done WITHIN 3 seconds. You only have to handle the mice by their tails for a very short time and the unpleasant deed is done.
Euthanize - Package - Freeze
Eutha-Mouse a patent pending device that quickly euthanizes feeder mice for the purpose of feeding them to rodent eating animals/pets. Eutha-Mouse is targeted to rodent eating pet owners and pet shops that sell feeder mice. The rodent is placed in the unit and held in place with the "mouse restriction plunger" then a switch is engaged to allow the 120VAC of electricity to flow through the rodent between 4 copper plates. Within 3 seconds the rodent is euthanized and is easily dumped out of the unit for consumption or packaged to be frozen. The unit is clean, safe and cost effective when used properly. It insures that your pet will receive the freshest food possible. Not soggy, possibly freezer-burnt mice that have been frozen months and months thereby losing some nutritional value.
